Situated across the street from one of Ireland’s best known tourist attractions, Cahir Castle, The River House Restaurant & Café Bar is a stylish, friendly and relaxing setting, serving a variety of food & drink to suit all tastes. The River House is one of the most beautiful restaurants in Tipperary offering some of the best food in Tipperary.

Breakfast

We open at 9am seven days a week serving Full Irish Breakfast's along with a selection of fresh coffee's, tea, scones, croissants and pancakes. The perfect way to start your day!

Lunch

From 12 - 3pm choose from our large carvery lunch menu including the roast of the day and our vegetarian option. Our desserts should also catch your eye!

Evening Meals

On Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday's we offer evening meals in elegant surroundings. This is until 9.30pm except for Sunday's when we close at 7pm.

Café Bar

Enjoy a relaxing drink at the bar before or after your meal at the River House.
